Summary of Emma in the Night by Paul Adams
Synopsis
Emma in the Night: A Novel by Wendy Walker | Conversation Starters
Sisters Emma and Cass disappear from home late one night. The police find Emma’s car at a nearby beach, her shoes floating on the water. Signs of Cass are not found. After three years, Cass, now 18, suddenly appears at her mother’s doorstep. Dr. Abigail Winter, a psychologist for the FBI, has a strong suspicion that the girls’ mother, Judy Martin, has something to do with the girls’ disappearance. She thinks Emma and Cass are victims of an emotionally abusive, narcissistic mother. Cass says Emma is held captive in an island but Cass is not about to reveal everything because it is apparent she has her own motives. With the life of Emma at stake, the FBI needs to know where she is as soon as possible. Will they find her on time? With Emma in the Night, expect another riveting thriller from Wendy Walker of the bestselling All Is Not Forgotten.
