The aquaculture industry continues to be an important source of world aquatic food supply, covering half of the global fsheries production due to the need for more food supply and the declining stock of capture fsheries. Among the aquaculture species, groupers are known to be an economically important marine fsh in Southeast Asia. However, a variety of environmental stressors (pH, temperature, salinity) substantially affect the grouper’s production. Thus, the control of environmental parameters is vital to overcome this phenomenal problem of grouper production.
