This book is a mind blowing opener for those who are doing research on human capital, organisation behaviour(OB), colloborative intelligence(CQ) and other managerial topics. As a researcher for these kind of topics, I'm delighted with the enlightenment of ideas given in this book. Each sub topics or topics of this book may derive a new idea for exploratory research. This can be very handy for those who are finding for research topics for their post -graduate studies. Certainly these book can be an excellent guide for organisational practises too. There are also some practical exercises and methods for the management to impliment as their organisation strategy and policies.
I know the author on a personal basis and he comes with great depth and profound insights. The book, not only if understood and applied, will transform one’s workplace but also one’s personal life. This is the first time, Im hearing about Collaborative Intelligence(CQ). This book has given me a new perspective on teaching. We have been dealing with students with high IQ and efforts are taken to improve their EQ. IQ may get us a job, EQ may determines how quickly we advance and get promoted. But, what is the component that promises our harmony at work place. The research we have ignored about is " Happiness at work". As mentioned by the author, collaborative intelligence is the next dimension of peace that will bring meaningful wisdom leading to greater happiness at personal level as well as interpersonal level. The content of the book is an eye opener, especially for educators. Why not educate students on CQ, which will help them to be mentally prepared in future. I also wonder is there any correlation between CQ and students' academic performance. Well, thats gona be an interesting study! As an academic researcher, the content of the book has definitely helped me to generate new knowledge and progressed my current understanding.This book is highly recommended for everyone!
