Joey Goes to the Oberland by Elinor M. Brent-Dyer

The San has opened in the Oberland with Dr Jack Maynard on the staff, so his family must relocate. The furniture vans drive away and Jo has to bring eight small children from the Welsh borders to the Swiss Oberland, with their luggage, by car and train. Even with the help of Anna and Primula things do not go entirely smoothly.
