Sing Solfège & Scripture Español Version by Sarah Samuelson

Sing Solfège & Scripture is a curriculum for learning how to read music by singing. The solfège [sɔlfɛʒ] method assigns each note in the music scale with a syllable: do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do. Boomwhackers are a percussion instrument with a colored tube for every pitch. Every song in Level One is introduced with notes of those colors. Piano notes and chords and ukulele chord diagrams are also included for each song. Each song has a Bible verse and Level One songs start with verses from the Old Testament about the Creation. The New Testament verses include the birth of Jesus through when he was baptized. All songs are in this versions are translated into Español. Songs in French and Japanese are also included. I include the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) to guide pronunciation of foreign languages. Other languages are available as well including: Português, Kreyól Ayisyen, Swahili, Igbo, French, Hawaiian, Ilokano and Tagalog. Curriculum continues to Level Four.
