Lilo, a boy who loves stargazing, is stunned when a blue-green light crashes into the banana field behind his house. There, he meets Zuku — a small green alien from Planet Zorli whose spaceship has broken down. With the help of Lilo’s father, they try to fix the ship but need a Star Energy Stone found only on Rainbow Hill. Lilo and Zuku set out on an adventure filled with challenges to retrieve it. After succeeding, Zuku returns to his planet, leaving behind a rainbow trail in the sky and a friendship Lilo will never forget.
