From the Preface - I share my story not for sympathy, but for connection—for the person who feels alone in their pain, who is questioning their faith, who is searching for hope. Maybe you never had a role model to show you how to give and receive love. Maybe you've never felt worthy—constantly rejected by those who should have cared for you.
