There was a tingling in the right side of the tongue. Who would have thought that was the beginning of a personal journey of trauma? The journey would be an unwelcomed one not of my own choosing. I would end up surveying the depths of suffering, as well as fear. I would be forced to face unresolved buried life issues and the radical changes needed, all because of the suffering-fear generated by the radiation mask. The mask exposed those inner traumas . Can past fearful traumas be overcome? The author concludes a resounding, “YES THEY CAN,” with the crucifixion of the mask!
