Ashley Walker was giving birth to her daughter when her boyfriend ran off with another woman leaving her alone and destitute with a newborn baby, . Life went on but Ashley is unable to give up her hate, anger and bitterness. She is mistrustful and wary of all relationships outside of her immediate family. The little girl develops an unshakable faith and maturity beyond her years. She becomes the rock holding a fractured family together.
