In this "Handful of Roses," Divergent edition, "what this story always called for was a view of love from anyone's perspective. Some poems had already spoken to love being universal, the speaker or reader, intended, didn't matter—only pronouns got in the way. Feel free to exchange him, her, his, hers, they, them, say what you will. With these additional sonnets, extractions of the scaffolding from the first edition, the story has finally reached its vision from the outset. At least this is my hope for all readers. Now your only foothold is your own imagination and vantage point.
