Synopsis

After her father’s sudden death, Eva finds herself alone in Paris, with little money and even fewer prospects. Turning to the notorious Madame LeBlance, one of Paris’s most famous Courtesans, for help, Eva discovers her father died in her fragrant arms. While she is there, Lord Charles Craig calls on LeBlanc with a very different problem and LeBlance devises a brilliant and clever solution to solve both their predicaments.

From here a twisted puzzle of deception and intrigue lies ahead, as Eva tries hard not to reveal her true identity, but her beauty cannot be hidden from the intolerable advances of the Marquis. Yet as the web of lies seem to turn against her, an unexpected turn of fate comes to her aide, and in doing so Eva finds a solution not only to Charles’ problem, but her own.
