Australia, around 2020BP: The annual fishing contest heralded the start of the celebrations for the Bunya-nut harvest and Tribe and Clan members came from all over the east coast to meet old friends and extended family and compete. But when they arrive at the contest, after walking from Darumbal lands in the north and following the coastline of present day Queensland, they find that all is not as it seems on the surface. Soon, after several very differing outlandish confrontations, Jundabara, with his wife Niyola and their boy Wogwun, must decide what is most important to them: their family, the contest, or resolving several major, dangerous issues for the local elders that manage the huge gathering.
