On the run with a baby…and killers on his trail.

Undercover cop Ruston McCullough doesn’t know who to trust after he and his former partner, Gracelyn Wallace, were almost killed on their last assignment. Back then, they found comfort in each other’s arms, but then Gracelyn vanished. Now Ruston has found her hiding out with her infant niece and, again, they’re under fire, possibly betrayed by a fellow cop. Unable to trust his own department, Ruston hides Gracelyn and the child at his family’s ranch. But the desire still smouldering between them could be a lethal distraction.
