"The News Urinal" follows the exploits of a photojournalist and his fellow newspaper staffers as they struggle to meet the challenges of the daily newspaper business in the 1990's. They face many obstacles from corporate control of the paper that tries to dictate policies with only a regard to the bottom line, to the emerging competition of new media. Through it all the staff of the News Journal bond as they fight to keep doing what they believe in.
