Wings of Love and War - A Novel of Adventure, Romance, and Courage by Patrick E. Taylor

This is a biographical/historical novel, based on the colorful life and adventures and romances of the author's oldest brother, born during the Roaring Twenties, growing up in the Great Depression, and training to fly, fighting over Nazi Germany as a bombardier in a Boeing B-17. Through it all runs a thread of religious conflict which played a role in relationships throughout his life.
